Created for Connection
A Christian Marriage Workshop
Mondays from 6:30 – 8:30 pm (PDT)
October 18 – December 6, 2021
Online via Zoom
We are created to be connected beings; through the understanding of the science of love and the wisdom of faith we can learn how to be securely connected.
Do you find yourself stuck in conflicts that go round-and-round without a satisfying solution?
Have you experienced times where rather than listening to each other, you resort to blaming, criticizing, defending yourself, or shutting down until you find yourself alone and wondering, “What went wrong?”
Do you sometimes have the feeling you are walking on eggshells around your spouse and some topics are just off-limits because they provoke the same reactions?
Have you ever wondered if God has more for your bond and sense of oneness?
Do you yearn to have a closer marriage?
We are created for loving connection,
and this becomes hindered when we feel unsafe,
insecure, and distant from each other.
Created for Connection is an engaging workshop for Christian couples designed to help you repair, build, and strengthen your bond to one another. A strong sense of connection to God and our loved one gives us a safe haven from which to courageously engage our world.
The workshop combines biblical truths with the well-researched and highly effective Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) for Couples, helping husbands and wives become all that God created us to be and deepening the husband-wife connection that He intended for us to experience in marriage.
Our counselor-facilitators will help you learn your own patterns that keep you stuck and disconnected, interrupt them, and learn new positive patterns through six structured conversations.
***This workshop is not appropriate for couples in extreme distress, including abuse, current addictions, and recent or ongoing infidelity. Please consider our counseling services if this is your situation.***
Cost of the Workshop:
This 8-week program is $195 per couple plus the pre-workshop purchase of a Created for Connection book. We believe that Created for Connection can be a life changing experience and don’t want financial hardship to keep you from participating.
